WEIGHING SYSTEM FOR MACROPAK TM2000/2 (LAUMAS W60,000) The weighing system of the TM200 filler is made up of the following components: • N°8 load cells of 1,000 kg each type CB1.000 (4 head cells “A” 4 head cells “B”) • 2 IP56 ALUMINUM BOX type junction boxes (one for head “A” and one for “B”) • N°2 W60.000 type weighing terminal 24Vdc power supply (one for head “A” and one for head “B”) • The system communicates via serial with the PLC Before programming and calibrating the system it is a good idea to carry out some checks on every single platform of the machine: • Check that the support surfaces of the load cells, upper and lower, are perfectly clean and free of roughness. • Check that the machine and its platform are level. • Check that the temperature near the load cells is uniform, they don't have to be be strong temperature differences (steam releases, etc.) between one cell and another. • In extreme cases, check the deflection of the upper support plates with a dial gauge and bottom of the load cells when loading a weight greater than 200 kg; there shouldn't be no flexing. (P.S. the load cells used in this machine have a deflection of four tenths corresponding to 1,000kg). The mechanical fixing of the platforms involves the use of four threaded bars for platform. The fixing of the threaded rods must be carried out as follows: • Loosen all the bars and position the platform so that there are no contacts mechanics with the machine chassis. • Fix the two ends of each single bar with the relative nuts. • Fix the central point of each individual bar, hand-tightening the nuts near the washer and then tighten the lock nut well with a wrench.
