Drill Press

• ☑ Choose Location. Preliminary location is in the corner next to the door between the woodworking and metalworking rooms.
• ☑ Empty the chosen location. Currently contains parts from the lathe. Move parts next to the lathe and arrange into the cabinets.
  • 19/05/2023: Half of the parts have been moved into the cabinets next to the lathe. The remaining half needs sorting.
  • The corner is mostly empty. Everything that is there is on wheel and can be moved.
• ☑ Acquire a table. Depth max. 70cm, width about 200cm. (TODO: check the width)
  • The table can be a cart on wheels as well. This can be welded together from the materials we have.
  • The cart is being built.
• ☑ Buy the drill. Possibly Bosch PBD 40.
• ☑ Buy drill bits. The drill should have its own set of bits that are attached to the drill press.
• ☑ Attach the drill to the table.
• ☑ Make a drill bit holder for the drill bits. Attach it to the drill press. The idea is that the drill bits are only used with the drill press which allows us to track how long they'll last.
• ☐ Add drawers to the drill cart.

Sorting of the Material Storage

• ☑ Move small pieces into separate boxes
• ☐ Sort and arrange the pile of metal next to the garage door. Move the extra material into the shipping container.
• ☐ Design a material rack.
• ☐ Build the material rack.
• ☐ Move materials into the material rack.

Clean or fix the sheet metal rack's wheels

• ☑ Remove material from the rack
• ☑ Inspect the wheels and either clean or replace them
• ☑ Put the material back on the rack
